I'm in love...with pictures and the emotion they deliver. I started photography a few months ago, typical digital camera, nothing big, and I worked my way up. I'm still at a learning stage. My parents wanted me to take photography classes but I didn't want to, it was immoral. Why? Because I think art is self-thought, meaning nobody else can teach you how to use a camera correctly, because honestly there's no right way to express yourself. Your photographic style is what makes you unique.

Hence this is my life moto :

Pictures are like people, some are better looking than others but deep down they are all unique and the stories behind them are all very different. Sometimes looking at other artists' galleries brings me down...but I have to remind myself that nobody is like me, and nobody will ever be able to take the same picture as me...

I'm unique...and proud of it...

Because I look myself in the mirror and I ask myself : who would you rather be? This boy you used to be or this man you'd rather be?

ARGHH!!! & HOURAYYY!!

So I had a discussion with my cousin a few days ago and he told me about a certain file type called "RAW"...anyone knows about it? Well he showed me that I could actually shoot in RAW format with my Canon EOS Rebel T1i, which I thought was cool considering that the file sizes are HUGE...hence better editing...right? WRONG!!!! I didn't know that RAW files couldn't be read by a computer without a specific software!!!!!!!

Problem is that this weekend I had a photoshoot (pictures will be poster tomorrow!!) and I shot my model in RAW format. When I got home I tried to upload the pictures to my USB (to edit at school...ya because I'm cool like that) and it told me that I could't read the file blah blah blah!! FREAK OUT!!! What was I supposed to do then?!

Hopefully when I got home tonight I remembered that I had CD's in my Canon box, which I hadn't even touched yet. Turns out there was a CD inside the box, more like a software that let me convert my RAW files into normal JPEG files!!! Now this means I can start my editing at school tomorrow...in class...because I'm productive like that (I'm telling you I think my teacher will trip out if she catches me editing my pictures once again)
